AGH Expands GI and Endoscopy Services in North Hills
October 20, 2009Pittsburgh, Pa (October 20, 2009) - Allegheny General Hospital has long been renowned as one of the region’s most advanced gastrointestinal centers. Now, AGH’s leading gastrointestinal specialists are bringing their highly regarded expertise and endoscopy services to patients in the northern suburbs.
At the new Stone Quarry Crossing offices on Camp Horne Road, specialists from the Allegheny Center for Digestive Health (ACDH) offer diagnostic services for a variety of gastrointestinal illnesses, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
The McCandless Endoscopy Center on McKnight Road offers many of the same diagnostic services as the offices at Stone Quarry Crossing, but also offers outpatient gastrointestinal procedure services, such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and colon cancer screenings.
Between the two locations, residents of Pittsburgh's northern neighborhoods and suburbs can access state-of-the-art gastrointestinal care and AGH’s premier GI specialists without leaving the comfort of their own community. As an added benefit, due to its affiliation with West Penn Allegheny Health System, arrangements can easily be made at AGH for more complex procedures and testing, if necessary.
Both locations offer ample parking and extended hours to best suit your healthcare needs.
The McCandless Endoscopy Center is located at the AGH McCandless Building, 9335 McKnight Road. To make an appointment with a physician at this office location, please call 412-DOCTORS (362-8677).
