Laurel C. Milberg, PhD
Laurel C. Milberg, PhD is the director of Behavioral Science and Education Development. She earned her doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh in counselor education, specializing in clinical supervision, family therapy and group work. Her work in the residency program is focused on the behavioral science teaching, including: conducting Balint groups and videotape reviews with residents, inpatient rounds, didactic conferences, and office precepting. She also provides curriculum and faculty development for the program. Dr. Milberg is Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Family Medicine and Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. She is a founding and current council member of the American Balint Society. Laurel is married, has two children and enjoys figure skating and summertime in New Hampshire.
