The Gerald McGinnis Cardiovascular Institute is pleased to announce its third annual lecture event "An Evening with Ken Burns" at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall. Don't miss this opportunity to entertain clients and friends for a thought provoking evening in one of Pittsburgh's most revered historic institutions.
If you enjoyed last year's lecture, "An Evening with Tim Russert" you and your guests will be thoroughly entertained by this year's program. A perennial figure on PBS, Ken Burns is the creator, director and producer of numerous award-winning documentaries, including Jazz, Civil War and Baseball. His latest work, a book and seven-part series on PBS, The War, has received wide spread acclaim. A compelling storyteller, Burns speaks on these topics as well as the creative process. Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall is one of the country's largest museums dedicated to honoring our nation's veterans and will serve as a perfect venue for a most enjoyable evening.
