Supporting a Range of Programs and Services

The Auxiliary makes a difference for AGH in countless ways and in virtually every corner of the hospital. It supports programs and services such as:

• Educational initiatives, including a wellness class for patients, alternative holistic therapies and patient education materials for the Critical Care Unit and OB/Neonatal staff.
  
  
• New medical equipment and patient care items, including a Vollman Prone Positioner for trauma; pillows for cardiac surgery patients; beds for specialty units; TVs for the Emergency Department and walkers for units throughout the hospital.
  
  
• Community outreach endeavors, including the Stranger Danger program and the North Side’s Health Fair.
