Accreditation

he Orthopedic Program at Allegheny General Hospital was last reviewed in October of 2004.  The site visit was early due to the retirement of the Department Chairman.  By ACGME guidelines a site visit must be conducted after the departure of a Chairman to review the associated program.  The site visit led to 5 year accreditation without deficiency, despite the myriad regulation changes over the past year.
