Research
ach resident is expected to participate in at least one research project during the course of his/her residency. This project may be either a clinical or basic science project, but the results of their work must be presented at the Annual Orthopedic Resident Research Day, which is held in the Spring, as well as the Annual AGH Resident Research Day held in May. A one to two month research block may be granted on a case by case basis if outside funding for research is obtained by the resident and they demonstrate a need for dedicated research time to complete the project. The Singer Biomechanical Research Lab is at the disposal of any resident interested in setting up a project. A completed manuscript must be prepared and approved by the Chairman in order to be eligible for graduation.
