The PGY-1 Year

he Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program offers a PGY-1 component to its educational program. This year allows residents to acquire many of the skills necessary to effectively complete the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program.
 
 Clinical Rotations:
            PGY-1 Two months General Surgery
            One month Trauma
            One month Plastic Surgery
            One month Neurosurgery
            One month Family Practice
            Three months Orthopedic Surgery
            One month Emergency Medicine
            One month Vascular Surgery
            One month Occupational Medicine
