Brief Narrative:

I was born on a cold day in January, on Superbowl Sunday when the Bengals were playing the 49ers.  I must have been bad luck, because it only got worse for my hometown team from there.  However, I moved to Pittsburgh just in time to rub their win into all the Steeler's fans (I'll probably need to update this shortly).  After living in the Midwest for 18 years, I was dying to get out to a place where I could ski and hike on a slope that wasn't an old landfill, so I moved to Colorado for my undergrad. I briefly contemplated a career in geography before finally deciding to go to medical school.  Back in Cincinnati again I met my fiancee Nate, and we couple's matched into AGH's EM program.  We chose AGH for the awesome faculty, residents and its location in a medium sized city with plenty of diversity and outdoor opportunities.

Interests: 

I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, board games, stupid computer games and live trivia.  I occasionally try to get in touch with my creative side by taking a painting or pottery class so I can make crappy Christmas gifts to give to my family members.  I enjoy drinking wine, going to new restaurants, and traveling with my family.
