Brief Narrative:
I grew up in small town Ohio. I have travelled extensively, and lived in a third world country for two years where I got a taste of practicing medicine in poverty. I completed a PGY-1 surgery year in Akron, Ohio. I applied to AGH for the diversity of pathology, LifeFlight, and Shock Trauma. I ranked AGH highly due to the resident comraderie, close attending-resident relationships and the strong sports medicine program.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling. I have also trained as a certified scuba diver and hope to gain my private pilot's license in the future. I enjoy World War II history, firearms, aircraft and have been known to occasionally hack up a golf course or two.
