Brief Narrative: I guess I would have to say that I'm pretty laid back in most things I do. I try not to take things too seriously because life is too short to not have fun. In fact, I try to have as much fun as possible in every single day,
even if that means less sleep at times. I like to cram as much stuff into
one day as possible because it makes me feel that at least I was productive.
I love to do anything that gets me out of the house including swimming,
golf, softball, basketball, tennis, hiking, hanging out with friends, and
acting like a kid. Some may say I even have a Peter Pan complex. Once I get my fill of outdoor activities I like to retire indoors to watch movies, catch up on some television shows, or surfing the net. Then it's back out on the town for some nightlife. I LOVE trying out  new restaurants, especially fine dining ones. You could say that I have quite the exquisite palate and can hold my own in the kitchen.

My next passion is traveling. I want to be able to make my way around the
world visiting TONS of different countries by the time I kick the bucket.
There are SO many differnt cultures and different types of foods that to
limit myself to just one would simply be just wrong. On top of that, I think
it would be a blast trying to learn their language as well to try and converse with the natives.

Residency has been a blast and I truly cannot think of doing anything else
with my life.  Though times can be tough, especially on ICU months, I feel
like I've made quite an impact on hundreds of people's lives.  I am very
glad that I chose the combined EM/IM program and feel that I will be the
"complete" doctor once I finish residency with all the extra training.  The
residents are great to work with and we all have tons of fun.  If there are
any questions you may have about the program here please feel free to e-mail
me and I'll do my best to answer it as soon as possible.  I look forward to
seeing a few of you during interview season.
