In this series of two classes, the Lamaze method is used to prepare the mother-to-be and her partner to respond to the physical and emotional experience of childbirth as active participants. The couple will learn about the labor process, physical and emotional changes, use of medication and variations in the birth process. She will learn breathing and relaxation skills, the use of guided imagery, and other coping skills to help her with the pain of labor. Plan to complete your classes 3-4 weeks before your due date. Cost: $80.00 per couple
