We are a primary resource for high risk pregnancy patients, including those with diabetes, hypertension and other pregnancy-related ailments. Our neonatology services for high-risk infants offer some of the most advanced technology available, including Level 3 and Level 2 neonatal intensive care units, staffed by experienced specialists and backed by ongoing research. We offer extensive gynecological services for all age groups (infant, child, teens and young adults) through the age of 22 through multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and social workers who are available to discuss sensitive issues. As host to North America's largest breast cancer research study, we have access to the work of literally thousands of researchers in the U.S. and Canada. And we provided Pittsburgh with the first center dedicated completely to diagnostic imaging of the breast. WPAHS is a leading provider of treatment for patients suffering from a variety of pelvic floor diseases, such as fecal or urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, rectal prolapse, bladder incontinence or uterine prolapse.
