Alle-Kiski Medical Center Offers AARP Drivers Safety

Natrona Heights Pa., - The PriorityCare program at Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) is offering the one-day option AARP Driver Safety Class on October 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Charles W. Young Conference Center at Alle-Kiski Medical Center Natrona Heights.
To qualify to attend the one day, four-hour class, the participant must provide proof of attending the regular two day class within the past 36 month period.
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation’s first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older that has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today’s roads. Offered for over 25 years, the program is designed to help you tune up your driving skills and update your knowledge of the rules of the road. Learn how to adjust your driving to allow for normal age-related physical changes and reduce your traffic violations, crashes and chances for injuries. Best of all, graduates qualify for a state mandated multi-year discount on auto insurance.
Fee is $14.00 payable to AARP. AARP members received a $2 discount with proof of membership. Class size is limited, so reservations are required, please call 724-226-7339 or e-mail to kgiovann@wpahs.org.
