Effective July 1, 2006, Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) has closed its maternity unit and transferred its obstetrical service to The Western Pennsylvania Hospital. AKMC is presently working with its obstetricians and maternity patients to ensure a seamless and efficient transition of care.
