General Internal Medicine

General Internal Medicine is one of the cornerstones of Alle-Kiski Medical Center. These physicians provide comprehensive inpatient care at AKMC and ambulatory adult medical care.
 
Clinical services include primary diagnosis of new disorders and management of chronic disease states such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and arthritis. These physicians also provide health screening and preventive services and wellness programs, along with geriatric medical consultation and perioperative assessment.
