Alle-Kiski Medical Center offers extensive psychiatry services for adults on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

The Psychiatric Unit at Alle-Kiski Medical Center offers patients an opportunity to discover effective ways to regain control of their lives while sharing their experiences with people much like themselves in a comfortable, therapeutic setting. The 22-bed inpatient, short-term unit offers comprehensive individualized care and professional treatment. The homelike atmosphere of the unit is enhanced by dining and lounge areas, a kitchen, laundry facilities and a recreational/occupationaltherapy area.

An inpatient unit for seniors also is available.

On an outpatient basis, AKMC offers clinical services for:

• Anxiety
• Psychoses
• Neuropsychiatric
• Personality
• Behavior disorders and substance abuse
• Bipolar
• Depression
