PET/CT

Provided at the New Kensington campus, this mobile service provides advanced diagnostic medical imaging.  PET/CT is indicated in the initial staging of many types of cancer.  The combination of PET scanning and CT scanning provides localization and tumor size estimation with greater sensitivity than either imaging modality alone.  PET/CT is also useful following cancer treatments.
