Cardiothoracic Surgery

Canonsburg General Hospital has broadened its range of capabilities with the addition of cardiovascular services.  The four board-certified vascular surgeons - Daniel H. Benckart, M.D., Bart A. Chess, M.D., Dean A. Healy, M.D., and Satish C. Muluk, M.D. - will see patients for evaluation and treatment in the hospital's Ambulatory Care Department.  Thoracic surgery services are offered by renowned surgeons from the Allegheny Center for Lung and Thoracic Diseases - Robert J. Keenan, M.D., Richard H. Maley, Jr., M.D. and Mathew Van Deusen, M.D.

The types of vascular cases that will be performed at Canonsburg General Hospital include diagnostic imaging, peripheral interventions and hemodialysis access cases.  Preoperative testing will also be scheduled at the hospital.
