Application Process
Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
If you have appropriate qualifications and strong interest in family medicine, submit your application between September 1 and December 31. Please note, MD and DO residents have separate ERAS match identifiers and numbers.
International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
Applications from IMGs who meet the following criteria are routinely considered:
- USMLE scores must be 85 or higher on either Step 1 or Step 2 with no more than one fail on either exam, or candidate passed USMLE Step 3.
- Must have graduated from medical school no more than 5 years ago or have recent residency training or active clinical experience that includes some U.S. clinical experience and reference.
- Spoken English and comprehension must be sufficient for in-depth psychosocial conversations.
- ECFMG certification through ERAS must be received by January 31.
Visas
We will sponsor J-1 and H1-B visas if you have passed Step 3.
Observation
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any observerships or externships.
