Education

Conferences

Departmental conferences are held twice daily and cover the full gamut of radiology and radiologic physics. In addition to the didactic curriculum, which is typically presented at 7:30 a.m. conference, there are numerous case review conferences, as well as conferences based on the Brant and Helms text.

There are conferences specifically geared to first-year residents in the beginning of the year and at the end of the year for call preparedness. Finally, there are a number of multidisciplinary conferences which residents are encouraged to attend.

Our physics curriculum is presented by Peggy Blackwood, MS, DABR, who is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiologic Physics and is involved in developing the ABR physics curriculum.

We are also delighted to host a number of visiting professors each year to round out our educational program.

The current conference schedule can be viewed below.
