MEDLINE

The MEDLINE database is produced by the National Library of Medicine and includes the contents of Index Medicus, Index to Dental Literature and International Nursing Index. MEDLINE covers the years 1966 to the present and contains references to more than 8.4 million articles in over 3600 journals published in the United States and 70 other countries. Seventy percent of the articles indexed are from English language publications and 70% of all articles indexed contain abstracts.

Biological Abstracts

Biological Abstracts/RRM is produced by Biosis and indexes 7600 primary journal and monograph titles covering research in biological and biomedical sciences. Indexed sources include scientific reports and conference proceedings as well. Literature of the fields of biology, medicine, agriculture, biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, ecology, microbiology, pharmacology and zoology are indexed from 1969 to the present.

CA Search

CA Search, produced by Chemical Abstracts Service, provides comprehensive international coverage of all fields of chemistry from 1967 to the present. Database is comprised of bibliographic information , CAS Registry Numbers and patent numbers.

PsycInfo

PsycInfo, produced by the American Psychological Association, contains more than one million references to over 1300 journals indexed from 1967 to the present. The database includes references to conference reports, dissertations and monographs as well as journal literature. Coverage is international and covers the fields of applied psychology, developmental psychology, educational psychology, experimental psychology, physiological psychology, psychometrics, and social psychology.

Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL)

CINAHL is produced by CINAHL Information Systems and provides comprehensive coverage of English language literature in the fields of nursing and allied health professions. Over 650 journals, as well as books, selected conference proceedings and dissertations have been indexed since 1982. Fields covered include health education, lab technology, medical records, occupational and physical therapy, respiratory therapy and the physicians' assistant.

Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HAPI)

Behavioral Measurement Database Services produces this database of evaluation and measurement tools for health and psychosocial studies. Records of questionnaires, checklists, rating scales, tests and other means of evaluation comprise this database which provides researchers with a means to identify and evaluate various research tools.

ABI/INFORM

ABI/INFORM, produced by UMI, indexes over 500 periodicals covering all aspects of the literature of business. This is an international database covering 1971 to the present which includes the fields of accounting, banking, health care, human relations, labor relations, management, marketing and telecommunications.

Health Planning and Administration

Produced by the National Library of Medicine, Health Planning and Administration database indexes non-clinical literature in the fields of health planning, health administration, health facilities management, economics and marketing. The database covers 1975 to the present and currently contains over 850,000 records.&127;

ERIC

ERIC corresponds to the Resources in Education (RIE) and Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE) produced by the Educational Resources Information Center. Education research reports and more than 700 periodicals from 1966 to the present are indexed covering aspects of education.

EI Compendex Plus

EI Compendex Plus is an interdisciplinary engineering database corresponding to the Engineering Index produced by Engineering Information, Inc. All engineering disciplines as well as related fields of science, technology and management are represented by 2600 international journals and selected reports indexed from 1970 to the present.

National Newspaper Index

This database provides complete indexing of prominent United States newspapers from 1979 to the present.

Computer Database

Information Access Company indexes journals from 1988 to the present which cover every aspect of computers, telecommunications, electronics and other high technology fields. Complete text of selected materials is included.
