Printing within the Library

1. Always reboot computer before use
2. You will see a gray box with: 'WPH domain' server login.
3. You must log in using your personal WPH domain username and password
4. Computer will configure and continue to boot
5. If you do not have a WPH domain username and password and wish to be able to print from library computers, please see Mary Jo or call the IS Helpline at x4357
6. If you log in and computer still does not print, your username and password may have to be reset by IS. Call the Helpline at x4357

About the Library Computers

All Library computers are PCs which employ the Windows XP operating system.  Each of the 18 computers contain the following software:

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) version 97 (updating Fall 2004 to latest version)

Internet Explorer (Web Browser)

Access to CHAS and other WPAHS applications

Each computer is configured with DeepFreeze security software which maintains a consistent look and feel to the desktop.  Users can save files to a floppy disk and to the desktop, however, files left on the desktop will be erased when the computer is turned off and rebooted.  Upon reboot, the desktop returns to its original display.

Users may not load personal software to Library computers.
