Application Information
Applicants to an AGH pharmacy residency program must:
- Be graduates of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Exhibit a keen interest in pursuing a career in patient-focused pharmacy practice
- Participate in the ASHP residency matching program (information is available on the Web in late summer/early fall for residencies starting the following year)
Applications will be accepted through January 1 of each year.
An on-site interview is also required.
The residency commences on July 1 (start date negotiable).

The completed application includes the following:
- Letter of intent
- Completed Residency Interest Form
- Curriculum vitae (to include work experience, leadership experience, organization membership, publications, presentations, and rotation experience)
- Professional letters of recommendation (minimum of 3)
- Academic transcript (official)
