Education

Applicants to an AGH pharmacy residency program must:

• Be graduates of an accredited school of pharmacy
• Be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• Exhibit a keen interest in pursuing a career in patient-focused pharmacy practice
• Participate in the ASHP residency matching program (information is available on the Web in late summer/early fall for residencies starting the following year)

Applications will be accepted through January 1 of each year. 

An on-site interview is also required. 

The residency commences on July 1 (start date negotiable).

Application Materials

The completed application includes the following:

• Letter of intent
• Completed Residency Interest Form
• Curriculum vitae (to include work experience, leadership experience, organization membership, publications, presentations, and rotation experience)
• Professional letters of recommendation (minimum of 3)
• Academic transcript (official)
