The STAR Center at WPAHS offers courses and skills training/review sessions to practicing, student, and aspiring healthcare professionals, including our organization's physicians, nurses, allied health practitioners, residents, fellows, medical students, student nurses, and nursing assistive personnel.
The STAR Center has partnered with community organizations to offer emergency medical services (EMS) training and to provide simulation experiences to middle school and high school students interested in careers in health care.
The STAR Center also offers community Heartsaver CPR courses. Dates and times are available by viewing the hrealth system's all inclusive classes and events schedule.
