This 18-week allied health program is designed for high school students, grades 10 to 12, who express an interest in an allied health career. They will be provided with the opportunity to experience hands-on clinical training in a virtual hospital setting.

Experiences include:

  • Practice and demonstration of vital signs using life-like mannikins
  • Exploring the role of the nurse, prehospital personnel/EMS, and patient care associates
  • Receiving CPR certification and re-certification

Audience

  • Pittsburgh-Peabody High School students enrolled in the Health Careers Technology Program
