This course is designed to increase staff feelings of competency in decision making and effectiveness while inserting a central line.
Pre-requisite
Partcipants must satisfactorily complete the online central line insertion module.
Expected Outcomes
Upon completion of the course the learners should be able to:

Demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily insert a central line catheter via all three major insertion sites: subclavian, internal jugular & femoral

Demonstrate competency in simulation central line insertion utilizing a validated checklist for each site developed at Stanford University Course. Instructors will validate competency.
