Pre-requisite-Partcipants must satisfactorily complete the on line central line insertion module. upon completion of the course the learners should be able to do the following:

1. Review Central line insertion technique for  all three major insertion sites;Subclavian, internal juglar & femoral veins access
2. Demonstrate proper placement technique of central venous access utilizing a validated competency checklist. 

Expected Outcomes

It is expected that the learner should be able to:

1. Demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily insert a central line catheter  via all three major insertion sites:Subclavian, internal jugular & femoral

2. Demonstrate competency in simulation central line insertion utilizing a validated checklist for each site developed at Stanford University Course.   Instructors will validate competency.
