Prebriefing and Debriefing Essentials

This course, designed for STAR facilitators, provides an overview of prebriefing and debriefing and how to incorporate them into simulation education. Through the study of theoretical information, course instructors will gain an understanding of these two processes. STAR instructors will learn what elements yield successful prebriefing and debriefing sessions and learn how to positively impact student learning, both before and after the simulated exercise.
