The First Responder Roles in Hospital BLS course provides the participant with the opportunity to review the steps of healthcare provider basic life support (BLS) as they are applied to situations in the hospital setting.  Participants will be able to practice assessing unresponsiveness, breathlessness, and pulses while assisting with BLS of patients in various code/alert scenarios. Participants can also practice using some of the common items on the hospital crash/code cart, including equipment  for airway maintenance, oxygen delivery, and manual ventilation.
