Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis Practicum

This course is designed to teach the basic skills needed to correctly perform continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) on a patient.

Learning Objectives

Demonstrate the correct setup/steps when doing CAPD.
Identify the correct procedure when doing a peritoneal catheter dressing change.
Demonstrate the correct procedure when adding a medication tot he dineal bag.
Demonstrate the correct information to write on a CAPD flowsheet.
