This class is designed for STAR users in need of simulation training prior to teaching in the STAR Center. In this course, participants are exposed to various types of simulators, task trainers, software and equipment and instructed in the appropriate usage of each. Depending on the needs of the class, class times range from 1 hour to 2 hours per topic.

Learning Objectives
- Define what simulation is and how it can be integrated into clinical teaching.
- Demonstrate how to use the STAR simulators, task trainers and equipment, including how to use pre-programmed scenarios.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate the STAR simulators, task trainers, and equipment.
- Identify the forms required to request and conduct a simulation session.
