This course provides the participant with the opportunity to transfer and apply theoretical knowledge to the clinical or work environment. Learning experiences will focus on the following skills: critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, communication, and teamwork. Scenarios can be developed to meet the needs of the individual or group.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to apply critical thinking skills in the management of specific situations
  • Apply decision-making and problem-solving skills using best practice
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members using communication and technical skills to improve the practice environment
