The Temple University School of Medicine Clinical Campus at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, located in Pittsburgh, Pa., has served as the clinical campus for 32 third-year medical students and 32 fourth-year medical students of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., since June 2000.

Temple University School of Medicine has 495 full-time faculty, 1,500 volunteer faculty, and 208 students in each medical class.

The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, the site of the first medical school west of the Allegheny Mountains, is a 524-bed tertiary care medical center serving people in Pittsburgh and throughout the tri-state area.
