This is a general Information session given by Bariatric Surgeons to discuss the pros and cons and insurance requirements for the 3 types of weight loss surgeries that can be performed.  Laparoscopic Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Bands, and Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy.  Vitamin and nutritional needs for each type of surgery will also be discussed.

The session touches base on the growing epidemic of obesity and the increasing number of children experiencing obesity related to medical conditions.
