Give Up Your Seat - For Better Health.

Please join Mary McDunn, PT, MS, Manager Rehabilitation Services,  Allegheny General Hospital Suburban Campus,  as she discusses high blood pressure and the benefits of exercise.

Its a fact, those who sit less, live longer.  The more time you spend sitting, the more likely you are to develop a chronic condition such as high blood pressure.  What if you already have high blood pressure?  One thing you can do is "Get Active".

Incorporating an exercise routine into your daily life is a great way to increase your activity level.  After just a few weeks of exercise, you can expect to see your blood pressure numbers drop.

Learn the relationship between high blood pressure and exercise.  This presentation will include discussion of how to exercise safely and tips for increasing your activity levels.

This program is free and open to any interested member of the community. Coffee and Refreshments will be served at 9:00 a.m.

To register please call Physician Access at:  412.330.4469.
