Please join Mary McDunn, PT, MS, Manager, Rehabilitaion Services at Allegheny General Hospital- Suburban Campus, as she leads a discussion on how to exercise safely and tips for increasing your activity level.

It's a fact, those who sit less, live longer.  The more time you spend sitting, the more likely you are to develop a chronic condition such as high blood pressure.

What if you already have high blood pressue?  One thing you can do is "Get Active"!

Incorporating an exercise routine into your daily life is a great way to  increase your activity level.  After just a few weeks of exercise, you can expect to  see your blood pressure numbers drop.  Learn the relationship between high blood pressure and exercise.

This program is offered at no cost and is open to any interested adult in the community.
