Many women think that because they are having an epidural, they don't need childbirth classes. But there is so much more to learn! In this class, you'll learn the answers to so many important questions!

Topics such as how will I know I'm in labor? When do I come to the hospital? What about IV,s, monitors, inductions, forceps, vacuums, C/Sections? What exactly is an epidural and what if it doesn't work? What will my baby look like and what is an Apgar score? Attend this very important class to find out the answers to these and other important questions about labor and birth. Class should be taken in the second trimester of pregnancy.

The fee for this class is $30.00 per couple.

Refund Policy: Refunds are granted in case of premature delivery or medical complications. West Penn Hospital must receive a letter from your physician explaining the reason for the refund.Refunds are pro-rated to reimburse only those classes not attended. A refund for nonmedical reasons must be requested at least 3 weeks prior to the beginning of the class.
