![]() Program Information: The Western Pennsylvania Hospital - Forbes Regional CampusApplication ProcessWe participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the American Association of Medical Colleges. All applications will be accepted electronically through this service. You will submit your application and the Dean's Office will submit supporting documents using software at your school. After we have reviewed your credentials, we may call you to arrange a personal interview. We will provide one night's lodging for this interview. Click here to visit the ERAS web siteCriteriaIf you would like to apply to our program, we only accept applications through ERAS and our deadline for applying is December 1, 2008. We will be accepting applications from International graduates, but will only consider those whose USMLE scores are a minimum of 85 or higher in either Step 1 or Step 2 with a maximum of two attempts but more specifically those who have also passed Step 3. We will also only consider those applicants who graduated medical school after 2004 or who were in a residency or active clinical practice (and some US clinical experience) during or after 2004. Spoken English and comprehension must be sufficient for in-depth psychosocial conversations. We must receive your ECFMG certification through ERAS by January 31, 2009. We only sponsor J-1 visas. We do NOT sponsor H1B Visas.
