Longtime local family physician Emilio Villegas, MD, has joined the staff of The Western Pennsylvania Hospital – Forbes Regional Campus.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Villegas has more than 35 years of experience in family medicine. Dr. Villegas provides personalized, quality care to patients age 12 and older including medical exams and physicals, preventative healthcare, electrocardiograms, chronic disease management, immunizations, allergy injections and minor surgical procedures.

Dr. Villegas served an internship and a residency in family practice at Shadyside Hospital after graduating from Cauca University’s medical school in Columbia. He also served a residency in surgery at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
