Echocardiography

Echocardiography is an important modality utilized to assess critical functions of the heart.  A specially trained technologist uses sound waves to image the anatomical structures and a cardiologist interprets the resulting pictures. 

Our Echocardiography Laboratory is accredited by a widely-recognized, national body and provides a variety of cardiac procedures including:

• Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE)
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Stress and Pharmocologic Echocardiograms

Pediatric echocardiograms are also performed.  All outpatient procedures are scheduled to ensure timely and effective testing.
