Palliative Care at Home

People who are faced with a serious, progressive illness can have many issues and concerns.  They are proceeding with active treatment but may have problems with pain and symptom management at home.  This is where palliative home care is appropriate.  Forbes Hospice and Palliative Care has many years of experience in dealing with these issues.  The goal is to promote more continuous and coordinated care of people with progressive, life-threatening illness with more effective interventions earlier in the illness process.  Palliative home care can be of value for people with illnesses such as:  cancer, lung and heart disease, liver and kidney disease, neurological diseases, and other end-stage illnesses.
