Allegheny Valley Hospital's Ambulatory Care Center continues the long and proud tradition of caring for the community with a wide array of outpatient services.

These services include laboratory tests, cardiac testing and radiology services, including routine X-rays, CT scans, mammography and ultrasound, MRI, Dexa Bone Density and PET CT. In addition, the Ambulatory Care Center is the site of the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Allegheny Valley Hospital and maintains an Urgent Care Center for the treatment of minor medical emergencies.

Urgent Care Center

When minor medical emergencies occur, you want treatment that is professional, convenient and prompt. That's exactly what you will receive at the Urgent Care Center at the AVH Ambulatory Care Center.

It's specifically designed to care for those bumps and bruises and fevers and falls we all experience from time to time. Patients receive care efficiently and thoroughly by physicians, nurses and support staff who provide emergency services at both Allegheny Valley Hospital and the Ambulatory Care Center.

Outpatient Services

Our Ambulatory Care Center offers a wide range of outpatient services and a level of care that is unsurpassed.

We also feature the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Allegheny Valley Hospital. More than a century after its creation, the Boston-based Joslin Diabetes Center continues its tradition of excellence as an internationally recognized diabetes treatment, research and education institution.
