Food and Nutrition Services provides enjoyable, nutritious meals as part of your total care. Meal selections are provided through a Preferred Dining Program. It is designed to provide better food choices along with personalized service.

Our host/hostess visits each patient prior to meal service and offers a spoken menu that is compatible with their prescribed diet. Trays are assembled in the kitchen with regard to selection and diet, and are then delivered by the host/hostess at meal times. Tray delivery times are based upon a set schedule approved by the Department of Nursing.

Dietary prepares nutritional supplements and snacks per diet order and delivers to unit pantries. Registered Dietitians provide nutritional assessments and diet counseling. The staff of Food and Nutrition Services strives to provide you with excellent meal service and nutrition education.

Cafeteria

The Hospital’s Cafeteria, located on the second floor, offers fresh, signature entrees and side accompaniments, fresh salad bar, fresh deli-bar, homemade soup-bar, specialty pizzas, gourmet wraps, desserts, nachos, hot pretzels, variety of hot and cold beverages and many, many more delicious and nutritious foods! The menu is posted daily in front of the cafeteria entrance. Hours of operation:

Monday – Friday
OPEN 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
CLOSED 10:15 a. m. – 11:15 a. m. and 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday
OPEN 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
CLOSED 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Patient Meal Service Hours

Breakfast: 7 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Dinner: 3:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

Haymaker Café

The Haymaker Café, located on the first floor of the Hospital just around the corner from the Patient Registration Entrance, offers fresh baked goods, coffees, cappuccino, gourmet deli-sandwiches, salads, homemade soups and snacks.  Hours of operation:

Monday – Friday
OPEN 6:30 a.m. – 8 p. m.
CLOSED 9 a.m. -9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday
OPEN 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
CLOSED 1:30 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop offers fresh baked goods, candy, snacks, water, soda and juice.  Hours of operation:

Monday- FRIDAY
OPEN 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Saturday- Sunday
OPEN 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Vending Area

Vending areas are located near to the Emergency Department and in the hallway next to the cafeteria on the second floor. Vending Machines offer a variety of fresh hot and cold-sandwiches and beverages, entrée salads, assorted breakfast selections, fruit, pudding, yogurt, snacks, and candy. A microwave oven is also available for your convenience.
