Infusion/Injection Therapy

Infusion therapy is a means by which medication is administered directly into a patient’s bloodstream through injection or intravenously (IV). Typically, this method is used when oral medications are ineffective, or when a patient’s condition warrants regular treatment. In fact, chemotherapy for cancer patients is simply a type of infusion therapy.
