Since 1987, William Coyle, MD, FACP has been providing quality professional medical care to residents in the South Hills and McMurray area. Colleen Murphy, DO provides expanded office hours for patients and family convenience. The schedule of Marcie Houser, CRNP, allows flexible patient scheduling as patient care needs arise.
The staff of Primary Care South has received NCQA recognition for "Patient-Centered Medical Home." NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) works with large employers, policy makers, doctors, patients and health plans to decide what is important, how to measure it and how to promote improvement.
The Patient Centered Medical Home is a healthcare setting that facilitates partnerships between individual patients, and their personal physicians, and when appropriate, the patient’s family. Physician practices who have met stringent criteria measuring health plan performance are given three-year certification and also receive financial rewards depending on their level of program attainment.
