The Western Pennsylvania Hospital

There are a host of volunteer opportunities at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Some volunteer positions are patient-related, while other positions have no patient contact. Regardless of the volunteer position, all volunteers enhance the patient experience at West Penn Hospital and are valued members of our team.

A Rewarding Experience

All prospective volunteers are interviewed to match their interests and talents with available volunteer positions at West Penn Hospital. Volunteers are expected to serve a minimum of four hours one day per week. In return, they receive complimentary parking and lunch or dinner on the days they serve –not to mention the opportunity to make new friends and the satisfaction that comes from helping to make hospital stays more pleasant for patients and their families.
