Fourth-Year Opportunities
WPAHS provides fourth-year clinical opportunities to medical students enrolled in medical schools accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and osteopathic medical schools accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
WPAHS does not accept students in a “Fifth Pathway Program."
A listing of fourth-year courses may be accessed here.
All requests must be approved by the Office of Student Affairs. Confirmation of requests will not be finalized until late May for the following academic year. All applications will be processed and decided upon based on date received.
Temple and LECOM students may apply by printing, completing, and sending the application form to the following address:

Third-Year Opportunities
West Penn Allegheny Health System provides third-year clerkships to students enrolled in Temple University School of Medicine and Drexel University College of Medicine.
The following clerkships are provided at these WPAHS sites:
