AKMC Physician Discusses Women and Heart Disease

Natrona Heights, Pa. – Danielle Godinez, DO will discuss “Women and Heart Disease: What Every Woman Needs to Know” on February 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights in the Charles W. Young Conference Center. 

Many woman think of heart disease as a man’s disease when in fact, heart disease is the number one cause of death for woman over age 50 in the U.S. Dr. Godinez will discuss the prevention, treatment and diagnosis of heart disease in women. Typical symptoms experienced by women are different than those men report. Learn about simple lifestyle changes you can make to help you prevent or better manage existing heart disease.

Dr. Godinez is board certified in family practice and practices with the Saxonburg Medical Center.
