Minimally Invasive Robotic Lung Cancer Surgery
Thoracic surgeons at Pittsburgh's Allegheny General Hospital are using the advanced da Vinci robotic surgical system to perform minimally invasive lung cancer surgery, offering new hope to patients with early stage lung cancer who may not be good candidates for a more invasive operation. AVH Offers AARP Drivers' Safety

Natrona Heights Pa., - The PriorityCare program at Allegheny Valley Hospital is offering the one-day option AARP Driver Safety class on February 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the auditorium at the Outpatient Care Center located at 641 Fourth Avenue in New Kensington.
To qualify to attend the one-day, four hour class, the participant must provide proof of attending the regular two-day class within the past 36 month period.
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation’s first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older that has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today’s roads. Offered for over 25 years, the program is designed to help you tune up your driving skills and update your knowledge of the rules of the road. Learn how to adjust your driving to allow for normal age-related physical changes and reduce your traffic violations, crashes and chances for injuries. Best of all, graduates qualify for a state mandated multi-year discount on auto insurance.
