Pittsburgh Tribune Review: Racial divide persists in Pittsburgh's infant mortality rate

Allegheny County's infant mortality rate for black children younger than 1 was among the nation's highest. No one can pinpoint why black babies die at such a high rate here, but West Penn neonatologist Bob Cicco outlines some of the controlable and uncontrolable risk factors that could play a factor in the health of black infants.
