In celebration of national Donate Life Month, Allegheny General Hospital's Transplant Program brought families of organ donors, living donors and transplant recipients together for a beautiful ceremony recognizing all of those who have bestowed the gift of life to another human being through organ donation. AVH Physician Lecture on Cryotherapy and Prostate Cancer

Natrona Heights, Pa., – Allegheny Valley Hospital’s (AVH) PriorityCare program is sponsoring a free physician lecture, “Prostate Cancer: Stop It Cold” on Tuesday, February 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Charles W. Young Conference Center at the hospital in Harrison. Rong-Chung (“R.C.”) Lin, MD, a board-certified urologist, will explain the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options for prostate cancer, including cryotherapy.
Prostate cancer is the most common cause of death from cancer in men over the age of 75. Cryotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment option that uses ice to destroy prostate cancer.
Dr. Lin is on staff at AVH and has offices located in Tarentum and Natrona Heights.
